C’est au son de leur époustouflante reprise d’Hotel California que les Kings ont accueilli la famille Gaymard dans son nouveau logis : une splendide caravane de 13 m2 (vintage 1982), aménagée cependant avec tout le confort et une ingéniosité surprenante. Certes la moquette est un peu défraîchie, la décoration, unique, constituée d’un tableau en coquillages, a un quelque peu souffert des ravages du temps et il plane sur l’endroit comme une persistante odeur de chien mouillé, mais quel bonheur d’avoir un nouveau chez soi ! Et quel terrain de jeux unique pour les enfants que ce vaste campement agrémenté d’opportunités ludiques jusque là inconnues !

« Je crois qu’à partir de lundi, je vais travailler 160 heures, ne m’attends pas pour dîner, Clara » a déclaré Hervé (déjà surnommé affectueusement le « gadjo thuné » par ses sympathiques voisins), visiblement très ému par « le cadre et l’endroit ».

Mais ce geste de solidarité n’a pas été sans suite puisque le quatuor « Les frères Jacques » s’est immédiatement proposé afin d’assurer un déménagement que l’on pressent déjà comme festif et bigarré, tandis que Florent Pagny s’est promis de chanter à tue-tête « J’habiterai où je voudrai »
